Simple Stamping with the Frogs
This is a great beginner-stamper friendly card. The image was stamped in the middle of a plain whisper white card base. Next I stamped the little mosquitoes around the frog. Then, I stamped the image on a scrap and used a circle punch and a dimensional glue dot to pop up the sentiment. The lines framing the card were hand drawn.
For the second card, I added the Designer Series Paper from Botanical Butterfly set, which is another FREE Sale A Bration item, for the background of the card. I used Lemon Lime Twist and my Big Shot cutting machine to create the scalloped circle. Sttamp the frog and the sentiment on whisper white. Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers were used for all of the coloring.
Here is a close up shot to highlight the coloring. Don’t ya just love her crown! I also used my journal pen to give her some eyelashes!!!
The third card I really stepped up! Lots of layers and some bakers twine and a pop of Real Red! This would make an awesome graduation card for someone special. Stampin’ Blends helped make the shadow beneath the little froggy’s feet easy! It’s the little elements like the shadow that make this card so awesome!

CASE-ing the Catalog
We stampers use a term called CASE-ing. Copy And Share Everything! What do we mean? It’s okay to copy card layouts, copy selectively, or just use another card to get you inspired to make your own. The sources of the inspiration can come from anywhere. One of the best sources, it of course, the Stampin’ Up! catalogs. I like to call them idea books! Here’s a card I cased from the Sale A Bration Brochure.
For this card, I used the new stitched rectangles. This set is great to frame your focal images or frame those beautiful sentiments!
Here is a look at my desk while I was re-creating the scenes using different color combinations. Which one is your favorite? I used the Abstract Impressions stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog to set the background for those whimsical frogs!
Here are all the cards together! Hope you have enjoyed all of today’s inspiration from Workin’ It on Wednesday with Sally. Please join me next Wednesday for more card inspiration. Have a great week!
