Thanks for stopping by today. Just wanted to share a quick card with you. Home to Roost is part of the Sale A Bration collection from Stampin’ Up!. There are six of our brand new Cling Stamps in this set. We still have the fabulous red rubber stamps you love with just a newer and better “cling” when you mount them onto the clear acrylic blocks! Same great quality images! Check out the card!
The background is the new gingham gala designer series paper and all I did was add some lines with a ruler and a stamp and write marker in Pacific Point. The oval focal image is watercolor paper. First I used an aqua painter with Balmy Blue for the sky. Next I washed on the Sahara sand for the foreground. Using the same Sahara Sand ink, I used the wheat grass stamp and stamped off first, then onto the watercolor paper.

On a separate scrap of whisper white I stamped the rooster image with Stazon Ink and I began to color with Stampin’ Up! watercolor pencils. I also blended the coloring with our fabulous blender pen. Once I was happy with the shading and coloring, I fussy cut the rooster.
You Amaze Me
I think each and every card carries a special message. What a great way to brighten someone’s day by giving them a handmade greeting card! Spreading kindness is just so much fun! The sentiment, You amaze me, is from Banners for You stamp set and I also stamped the frame around the banner using Birthday Banners stamp set. Of course there has to be a stamp in the inside of the card too right?? The one I chose was from the new Strong & Beautiful stamp set from the Occasions catalog. Powerful words in this set. I am sure this will become a go to set for me!
