One Sheet Wonder – Fun with the Team
Hello crafters and happy Monday. One of the best things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is being part of a team. The group I belong to is called Creative Chalet Stampers. We are lucky to have a fabulous gal as our leader, Dawn Bourgette. We now do a monthly team challenge and it’s just a lot of fun to do within our team. Fun with the team! This is the challenge we did for April, One Sheet Wonder. There are a zillion different ways to approach this challenge. For the link to instructions from Craftsy.com – Click here
This is how the “one sheet” of 12 x 12 paper should be cut. What’s the objective? To USE your paper with minimal waste. And boy oh boy was this successful!
This diagram illustrates exactly where to use the cuts for the card layout. As you can see, this one sheet will yield 14 cards! I don’t know about you, but I am a super slow stamper. This method, One Sheet Wonder, was super quick and very efficient! I will certainly do this again! SOON!
Fun with the Team Cards
For this card, I used an emboss resist technique on water color paper. Then I just added some watercolor wash.
What better way to brighten up a friend’s day! Send a card just to say hello! This is a fabulous new stamp set. Don’t you just love the fonts!
These new doilies are pearlized! Great new shape and fabulous new texture.
For these twin cards, I simply turned the Specialty Designer paper over for a completely different look! One sheet wonder can produce a lot of cards with completely different looks. This was a great challenge to try!
