All you need is Love

Hi crafters!  Happy Super Bowl Sunday.   Not a big football fan myself so it’s a great day for card making here in CT.  Today’s card inspiration is from the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge 135.   Check out this week’s sketch:

It’s always fun to try card challenges.   There are so many talented people out there.   For more inspiration, check out the design team and all the entries HERE

Love, Love, Love

Since it’s so close to Valentine’s Day, I cut the Stampin’ Up! Bloomin’ Heart thinlit using Shimmery White paper for the focal centerpiece. Next I watercolored a powder pink heart on watercolor paper to layer under the beautiful bloomin heart.   Then I cut a few flowers and used the wink of stella pen to color the hearts powder pink.   Of course the sentiment had to be LOVE from the  Sunshine Wishes Thinlits cut using the gold foil paper die.    A tiny bit of gold bling peeking out from that beautiful heart says it all!   Love, love, love.

Night of Navy is such a deep rich color.   I just love it!   It’s often my go to color for cards.

Love Birds

Once this card was completely put together, I thought it looked more appropriate for a wedding card.    Thus the sentiment:

somethings are just meant to be ~ like the two of you together stamped on the inside of SIP 135 card challenge by Sally Hesseniius, sallyssentiments.com
