Stamping on Saturday

Happiness is when your card turns out nothing like you had intended!    Wait.   What?    When you get an idea for your card layout and it evolves into something completely different, just run with it.

This week’s challenge sketch is from Stamp Ink Paper Challenge#104

Stamp Ink Paper.com Challenge #104 Colors Lime Green, Indigo, Berry - Add a Metallic

It was easy to work with this color combination for the challenge.   The new In Colors from Stampin’ Up! are just fabulous.   So I was able to use my Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst.   For the Indigo, I chose the Island Indigo again from Stampin’ Up.  Not a go to color for me, so the challenge was on.

Sally’s Messy Desk

My desk always gets a bit scary when I break out just about everything I own.   Experimenting is just part of the process of creating.   That’s what makes it so much fun.   For this challenge, I only used one stamp set – Happy Birthday Gorgeous

Inside the card is "It's your Day, Make a Wish" sentiment stamped in Lemon Lime Twist on Whisper White Cardstock, 3 cabbage rose images stamped in Berry burst ink with Lemon Lime Twist stamped leaves by Sally Hessenius, sallyssentiments.com

In case you missed it, the metallic element I used was the one little heart by Happy Birthday!
